Dig and Haul is the excavation and removal of hydrocarbon-contaminated soils to approved disposal facilities. The process includes back filling, compacting and site reclamation.

Bioremediation is the use of living organisms, such as bacteria, to clean up oil spills or remove other pollutants from soil, water and wastewater.

Land farming in a bioremediation treatment process that mixes contaminated soils, sediments or sludges into surface soil. These land farming activities cultivate and enhance microbial degradation of hazardous compounds.

Air sparging is a treatment technology where air is pumped into the ground to aid in the removal of volatile hydrocarbons.
