BEI believes that “Safety First” is the key to promoting employee excellence, productivity and customer satisfaction. Our unified goal is to be accident free for the benefit of all employees, their families and the communities in which we work.

Accident prevention is a vital part of BEI’s daily operations. Accidents are caused; they don’t just happen! Therefore, it is BEI’s objective to seek out these causes, devise protective or preventative measures, and promote safety-minded attitudes among all employees in all of our procedures and operations.

BEI provides ongoing guidance, training and direction to all employees for recognizing and minimizing exposure to work related illness and injury. If everyone strives to avoid accidents, we will be in a better position not only to control and eliminate accidents, but also to improve the total performance of our organization.

Employees undergo continual training on safety, operator qualification compliance, and OSHA programs. The company hosts daily and weekly safety meetings to ensure all employees are up-to-date on safety concerns and procedures related to their jobs.

Operator Qualification Compliance
All BEI pipeline employees are compliant with Section 49 CFR 192 and 195 which requires personnel to be qualified to perform various covered tasks. BEI is an accredited training center of NCCER, therefore employees are qualified utilizing the NCCER curriculum.
